Grant Waller
Managing Director/ Supported Living Manager

Grant opened Unity Dorset in 2013 after leaving his career as a community nurse for the learning disabilities team.
He has worked in the health and social care sector for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with individuals with mental health needs or learning disabilities in various settings such as; hospitals, residential units and social services.
Grants overall responsibility is to manage the company contracts, finances and budgets. Additionally Grant is responsible for health and safety compliance and liaison with external services to meet these requirements.

Colleen Waller
Managing Director/Community Support Manager

Colleen has been part of Unity Dorset from the very beginning in 2013, initially taking on the role of admin and human resources and then onto her current role as company managing director in 2016.
This is Colleen’s first role within the health and social care sector having previously worked in HR for a local fashion retailer as well as admin roles and customer service roles within the public sector. Additionally Colleen was a special constable for 8 years with Dorset police and reached a Sergeants level within the force before leaving in 2013.
In her current role as managing director she has overall responsibility for the whole team and for the quality of service delivery and compliance with local authority contracts and framework. An additional role that Colleen currently holds is the daily lead for our supported living setting; leading and supporting the team of support workers providing the hands on care.
Colleen is currently completing her NVQ level 5 diploma in health and social care and has additional training and experiences in supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
Colleen has motivation and drive to continually develop and improve the service Unity Dorset provides by introducing new processes and procedures.
